Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 30, 2026
Kinnerly (“Kinnerly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you visit Kinnerly.com or join our early access list.
Kinnerly is currently in an early concept and private beta stage. The website is designed to explain the Kinnerly idea, collect early access requests, and gather feedback from people interested in the product.
1. Information We Collect
At this stage, Kinnerly may collect the following information:
Information you provide
- Your first name
- Your email address
- Your selected use case or reason for interest
- Any feedback you choose to send us
Website usage information
We may collect basic website analytics, such as page views, referring websites, general location such as country or region, device type, browser type, and time of visit.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to help understand how visitors use the site. Vercel Web Analytics is designed to provide privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics.
2. How We Use Information
We may use the information we collect to:
- Manage the Kinnerly early access list
- Contact you about beta access
- Ask for feedback about the product concept
- Improve the website and product direction
- Understand which features people are interested in
- Maintain basic website security and performance
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Early Access Emails
If you join the early access list, we may email you about Kinnerly beta access, product updates, feedback requests, and major feature announcements.
You can ask to be removed from the list at any time by contacting us.
4. Future Map Features
Kinnerly may later include a private people map that helps users see where family members and close friends are located.
Our intended approach is privacy-first:
- City-level locations only
- No exact street addresses
- No live location tracking
- No background GPS tracking
- No public location profiles
- Users control what information they add or share
These map features are not intended to track people in real time.
5. Future Photo and Memory Features
Kinnerly may later allow users to add photos, memory prompts, family stories, and related responses.
Our goal is not to become a general photo storage service. Kinnerly is intended to help preserve the stories and memories connected to meaningful photos and moments.
If these features are added, users will control what they upload and who they choose to share it with.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information with trusted service providers that help us operate Kinnerly, such as website hosting providers, database providers, analytics providers, and email service providers.
Kinnerly currently uses Vercel for website hosting and analytics and Supabase for storing early access waitlist submissions.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect the information we collect.
However, no website, database, or internet transmission is completely secure. You should avoid submitting highly sensitive information through the early access form.
8. Your Choices
You may contact us to:
- Request removal from the early access list
- Ask what information we have about you
- Request correction of your information
- Request deletion of your information
